It's 3am in the morning, the clever people are asleep, but how can you possibly sleep when everything you see around you in new. To close your eyes is to miss the experience, and I didn't want to miss anything. So at 3am, the sun is sitting very low on the horizon, not quite willing to set, and the light is amazing, a photographers dream, the icebergs are glowing pink, lit up from the low sun angle, and all of a sudden, the Aurora Australis casts her shadow over the closest iceberg.. it was a magic moment that was not repeated again during the trip. 10 seconds and it was over. I'll probably sleep later!
